Hotel Bisanzio Ravenna, Ravenna

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were clean and adequately furnished, but a bit on the small side, and the beds were too hard for my liking. On the positive side, they were well soundproofed from the neighboring room. The service was very friendly and accommodating, making my work trip feel like a holiday, especially with the selection of fruit, cheeses, meats, and juices. The location was ideal, just a couple of minutes' walk from Basilica San Vitale and 5 minutes to the Piazza Del Popolo, perfect to visit the jewels of Byzantine art. However, the decor gave a sad impression. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with a good variety offered but lacking some options like scrambled eggs. Overall, the hotel could benefit from periodic refurbishments and providing complimentary amenities like slippers and sewing sets.

The hotel was situated right in the town center, perfect for walking the 'mosaic tour,' and just a short stroll to the Basilica San Vitale. The rooms, while clean and comfy, felt a bit dated in terms of décor. The service was charming and very helpful, making my stay pleasant. The dining options were of good quality but could have been better with more hot cooked choices. Overall, a convenient location with friendly service, albeit with some room for improvement in the rooms and dining.
